The nude figure has intrigued Dana as one of the greatest challenges to draw, and as one of the most beautiful and complicated aspects of creation. Nature provides a balm to the soul, and attracts Dana to paint en plain aire.
Formally, Dana Is intrigued by simple shape arrangements, pattern, and the gestural stroke with a brush or a crayon of conte. As she expresses particular concentrated glimpses of the joy of life, she hopes to share this joy with others.
